OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS – WET VACUUMING

BEFORE STARTING

WARNING!

Ensure to read, understand, and apply the safety instructions in Section 1.

Reminder: DO NOT vacuum hazardous substances.

1. Ensure that the power cord is disconnected from the power outlet. Ensure that the tank is clean and
free of dust and dirt (Fig. 1).
2. Remove the cartridge fi lter and install a foam fi lter over the fi lter basket and place the top section
back on the tank (Fig. 2).
3. Fit the desired nozzle to the vacuum hose (Fig. 3).
4. Ensure that the switch is in the ‘O’ position before plugging the power cord into the power outlet (Fig. 4).
5. Switch the Wet/Dry Vacuum on (Fig. 5).
6. After use, fl ip the switch to the “O” position and unplug the power cord, then empty and dry the tank
    (Fig. 6, Fig 7).

When vacuuming large quantities of liquid from a sink or tank etc., do not immerse the nozzle
completely into the liquid; leave a gap at the top of the nozzle opening to allow for air infl ow. The
machine is fi tted with a fl oat valve that stops the suction when the tank reaches its maximum capacity.
An increase in motor speed will be noticed. When this occurs, turn off the machine, disconnect from the
power supply, remove the head from the tank and empty the liquid into a suitable receptacle or drain.
To continue vacuuming, refi t the head and proceed. After wet vacuuming, turn the machine off and
remove the plug from the power supply. Empty the tank and clean/dry the inside and the outside before
storage.

Remember!

The foam fi lter must be removed after wet vacuuming, and a cartridge fi lter must be

installed before dry vacuuming again.
