WARNING: Never use the heater without first
assembling all the components correctly and
making sure the heater is positioned on a perfectly
flat, stable and level surface.
►►5.1. SWITCH-ON:
►5.1.1. Connect the heater’s plug to the mains (Pic. 6).
►5.1.2. Turn the power selector to the desired mode
(Pic. 7). Here are the available settings:
• By setting the power selector to “ ” the heater will only
operate in ventilation mode.
• By setting the power selector to “I” the heater will
operate at heating power 1.
• By setting the power selector to “II” the heater will
operate at heating power 2.
• By setting the power selector to “III” the heater will
operate at heating power 3 (if present).
CAUTION: A SERIES OF SENSORS CHECK THAT
THE HEATER IS OPERATING CORRECTLY AND
STOPS THE APPLIANCE IN THE EVENT OF A
SERIOUS FAULT. THE HEATER WILL NOT RESUME
OPERATION AUTOMATICALLY, THIS MUST BE
PERFORMED MANUALLY. WAIT FOR THE HEATER
TO COOL DOWN COMPLETELY AND REMOVE
ANYTHING WHICH MIGHT HAVE BLOCKED THE
HEATER (E.G. OBSTRUCTED AN AIR VENT,
IMPAIRED THE AIR SUPPLY, ETC.) AND PRESS THE
“RESET” BUTTON ALL THE WAY DOWN (Pic. 8).
MAKE SURE THE “BLOCKED HEATER INDICATOR
(1 Pic. 5)” TURNS OFF. IF, AFTER A FEW ATTEMPTS
TO RESUME OPERATION, THE HEATER DOES
NOT WORK, CONTACT THE TECHNICAL SUPPORT
SERVICE.
►►5.2. SWITCH-OFF:
►5.2.1. Set the power selector to “0/OFF” (Pic. 9) and
leave the fan working until the heater fully turns off.
►5.2.2. Disconnect the heater from the mains power
supply (Pic. 10).
CAUTION: AVOID DISCONNECTING THE HEATER
FROM THE MAINS BEFORE THE FAN HAS
COMPLETELY STOPPED MOVING TO AVOID
SERIOUS DAMAGE.
►►6. STORAGE
Always disconnect the heater from the mains power
supply (Pic. 10) when not in use and wait a few minutes
for it to cool down completely before putting it away. Put
it back in a dry place and protected from dust. When the
heater is used again, check the condition of the power
supply cable. If in doubt regarding its state, contact the
technical support centre. Have the technical support
centre check that the heater is working properly at least
once a year and/or as required.
►►7. CONNECTING THE REMOTE ROOM
THERMOSTAT
In models with a remote room thermostat connection
(Pic.11), remove the plug connected to the heater and
connect the remote room thermostat (optional) (Pic. 12).
To ensure the heater works correctly, with the remote room
thermostat connected, set the ambient thermostat knob
(3 Pic. 5) located on the control panel to the maximum
temperature and only use the remote room thermostat.
CAUTION: TO ENSURE CORRECT OPERATION, THE
HEATER MUST HAVE EITHER THE PLUG COVER
(Pic. 13) OR THE REMOTE ROOM THERMOSTAT (Pic.
14), OTHERWISE THE HEATER WILL NOT TURN ON
(Pic. 15).
