Inspect power cord for damage. Be sure unit is
plugged in and turned on

Bad motor
Replace motor
Reduced Air Flow

Obstruction
Turn off and unplug fan. Remove guard and make sure
nothing is obstructing the fan blades.

Bad switch or capacitor
Replace switch or capacitor (Note: To prolong life of
fan, operate fan first in 1(LOW) for 5-10 seconds before
switching to higher speed.
Humming sound but no
operation

Bad capacitor
Replace capacitor
Excess Noise (vibration,
squealing)
1.
Fan is not on level ground
Turn off fan, and move unit to smooth level surface.
2.
Guard is not secure
Check guard screws to be sure all are tight.
