ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

WHEEL INSTALLATION

Install wheels with axles pushed fully into axle slots. Make sure to install tab washers so that the tab is inserted
into the round hole in the frame. This washer should be on the outside of the frame. Between the frame and axle
nut. Making sure wheels are centered, tighten the axle nuts firmly with a wrench.
NOTE:
The wheel is marked with an arrow showing correct rotation of wheel. Mount wheels with this arrow
pointing toward.
NOTE:
Front and rear wheels are the same.
B. HANDLEBARS STEM AND GRIPS
1. lnstall the four clamp bolts loosely, positioning handlebar parallel to the stem. Tighten clamp bolts evenly by using
wrench.
2. lnstall stem into fork. Position parallel to front wheel. Tighten stem bolt by using wrench.
Make sure the stem is installed below the MAX HEIGHT mark.
3. Install the rear brake lever to the right side and the front brake lever to the left side of the
Handlebar. Do not tighten.
4. lnstall grips.
5.Now position brake levers up against grips about 45 down from horizontal and tighten securely.
C. BRAKE ADJUSTMENT
1. Adjust brake pads. Labels lacing up, until top edge of the pad is even with the top edge of the rim.
2. Hook cable and through adjusting panel (the adjusting panel should be all the way down) and through the anchor
bolt.
3. Hold the pads firmly against the rim. Pull cable end tight. Using a pair of pliers tighten the anchor bolt snugly. Do not
over tighten.
4. Squeeze the brake lever several times to remove slack.
5. Center the brake by tapping on the top of brake spring using a flat screw driver and hammer.
6. Be sure to adjust the cable or use the adjusting barrel until the pads clear the rim by 1/4 inch
NOTE:
Serial number is located underneath the brake mounting bracket.
MAINTENANCE
Your scooter is a quality scooter. It has been constructed utilizing quality bicycle components available through most
bicycle retailers. With periodic maintenance and common sense use and care, your scooter can provide many years of
riding enjoyment.
Make it a habit of checking that everything is securely tightened, Make sure the handlebars and stem are snug, axle nuts
tight and the grips are in good repair and not loose.
The brake operation should be tested before every use. Check for loose brake levers, worn brake pads or broken frayed or
kinked brake cable.
Check tires weekly for pressure.(recommended pressure is printed on side wall of the tire)
NOTE:
Riding your scooter with low air pressure can result injury or wheel damage. blowouts and possible loss of control.
The wheel bearings and head set are quality bicycle components and should be disassembled, signed, lubricated and
adjusted by a quality bicycle repairman once a year. Broken or worn parts should be replaced as necessary.
NOTE: lt should never be ridden by more than one person at a time. Care should be taken when riding on pavement as
breaking action and tire traction may be reduced. Never leave your scooter unlocked and unattended.
