Adjustment of clutch 

Clutch adjustment is made through adjusting the tension of wire rope for clutch 
grip. Before feeling the gear disengagement by pressing the clutch grip, the wire 
clearance measured at clutch grip shall be 4 mm. If the clutch wire clearance is 
found incorrect, carry out adjustment as follows.  

 

 

Warning 

After accelerator wire adjustment, check the operation of accelerator grip. 
Engine idle speed shall not increase due to the adjustment, and the grip shall 
return to the closed position automatically.
