Top
During the entire top opening or
closing procedure, the
†
light is
flashing on the multifunction display.
Press the front end of button A on the
central console to open the top, or the
rear end to close it, and hold it down
until the operation is completed as
indicated by the multifunction display
light
†
switching off.
The operation starts with the windows
lowering and terminates with them
raising.
WARNING If the
†
warning light on
the multifunction display continues to
flash after completion of the
procedure, the top or top covering are
not properly fastened and they could
be damaged when the car is moving. In
this case, open or close the top and
repeat the operation. If the
†
light
continues to flash, please contact the
Maserati Service Network.
WARNING When pressing the top
operation pushbutton, the
†
light
on the multifunction display switches
on permanently, but with dim intensity
it means that the battery is partially
discharged. In this case, the engine
must be started before operating the
top (this operation must be carried out
only outdoors).
WARNING The top operating system is
equipped with a self-diagnostics
system; Upon each start or with the
ignition key in the MAR position, the
†
warning light on the
multifunction display flashes for about
2 seconds. When the system detects a
malfunction, the light flashes for 10
seconds; In the case of malfunctioning,
please contact the Maserati Service
Network.
Manual emergency top
operation
Manual operation of the top
for emergency closing
requires the presence of two
persons in order to prevent personal
injury or damage to the car.
In case of need, the top can be opened
and closed manually, provided that the
vehicle electric system is working
properly.
Fastening of the rear top
hooks and of the top covering
locks will not take place if no
electrical power is being supplied. In
this case, that is, if the unit is not
locked properly, do not continue
operation and contact the Maserati
Service Network.
The emergency procedure described
below must be used to close the top if
it is not possible for you to contact the
Maserati Service Network immediately
and you cannot keep the top open.
