1C-3 Engine Electrical Devices:
2) Turn ignition switch to ON position and check that
voltage of CKP sensor connector (vehicle side)
between terminals “1” and “2” is battery voltage.
If faulty condition is found, check power supply
circuit, ground circuit and connections.
3) Check that CKP sensor signal is output properly.
• Petrol model: Reference “Inspection of ECM and
Its Circuit: Petrol Model” in Section 1A in related
manual mentioned in the Foreword of this manual.
• Bi-Fuel LPG model:
If faulty condition is found, check the following.
• Wire harness and connections
• CKP sensor:

LPG MAP and Temperature Sensor Removal
and Installation (Bi-Fuel LPG Model)
AENAR90A1306029
Removal
1) Relieve fuel pressure in LPG fuel line.
2) Disconnect negative (–) cable from battery.
3) Disconnect LPG MAP and temperature sensor
connector.
4) Remove bolts (2) and then remove LPG MAP and
temperature sensor (1) from LPG fuel delivery pipe
(3).
Installation
Reverse removal procedure noting the following.
• Clean mating surface of LPG MAP and temperature
sensor and LPG delivery pipe.
LPG MAP and Temperature Sensor Inspection
(Bi-Fuel LPG Model)
AENAR90A1306030
LPG Temperature Sensor Inspection
1) Remove LPG MAP and temperature sensor.
2) Check O-ring (1) for damage and deterioration. If
faulty condition is found, replace LPG MAP and
temperature sensor.
3) Measure resistance between sensor terminals “1”
and “2” while blowing hot air to temperature sensing
part (2) of LPG MAP and temperature sensor (3)
using hot air drier (4). If measured resistance is out
of specified value, replace LPG MAP and
temperature sensor.
CAUTION
!
Do not heat up LPG MAP and temperature
sensor more than 100 °C (212 °F). Otherwise,
LPG MAP and temperature sensor will be
damaged.
