See Figure 14. The addressing principle for the y axis is slightly different for LC 2140 and LC 1140 panels
because they are different heights. Both types of panel are addressed starting with y = 0, but:
• setting the y coordinate to zero maps an LC 2140 panel to the top row (if you set DIP switch pins 7 - 12 to
0, the panel displays the rows with y coordinates 0 and 1), and
• setting the y coordinate to zero maps an LC 1140 panel to the second row (if you set DIP switch pins 7 -
12 to 0, the panel displays the row with y coordinate 1).
Note that an LC 1140 panel cannot be mapped to the top row of the video image.
If the principle behind mapping and addressing is confusing, just refer to the DIP switch settings shown in
Figure 14, Figure 16 and Figure 17, and set the addresses in your installation following these examples.
