Method #1
Feed System, Right Side.
1.
Loosen the (2) blue thumb knobs on the retarder plate. Lift slightly above
the surface of the feed wheels.
2.
Manually rotate the feed wheel so that one of their teeth is directly
beneath the feed tips of the retarder plate.
3.
Take one piece of media, to be run, and place under plate tips from side.
4.
Allow plate to fall, put a slight downward pressure on the plate with one
hand, and tighten knob with the other hand.
5.
Repeat steps 2 – 4 for the other knob.
6.
Test by leaving the tab/ label in “OFF” position and activating feed with
just a few pieces of stock. The stock should feed one at a time, and the
gap between each piece should be consistent.
A slight readjustment of the feed system may be necessary.
Method #2
NOTE: This method can be used on single sheet applications.
