CONTACT METHOD
Use a low-level, short stimulation (1/4 of a second) to reinforce or accom-
pany a command already known. The aim is that the dog accepts this stim-
ulation so as, later, to accept the correction stimulation in the event of
disobedience.
Moreover, by accompanying the command with a low, short stimulation, it
is possible to made the dog obey more quickly. This accompanying stim-
ulation keeps the dog’s attention alert.
TRAINING A DEAF DOG
The electronic stimulation is a command, for example:
▪
“Come here” = a two-second low-level stimulation, without any
verbal accompaniment.
▪
“Sit!” = a ¼ second low-level stimulation without any verbal accom-
paniment.
CAUTION
▪
Only use the collar with a dog in good health.
▪
If the dog is aggressive, consult a specialist.
▪
Check whether the stimulation is being felt or not by “reading” the
dog.
▪
The electronic stimulation must be appropriate for the situation.
▪
Before use, read the manual carefully and ensure you understand
how to operate the product.
