SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read the User Instructions carefully before use!
Always follow these basic safety instructions when using electrical appliances.
Never connect the appliance to a wall socket with another mains power supply than the
one indicated on the appliance.
A damaged power cord must be replaced by an authorised service centre or qualified
person to ensure safe use.
The outlet and inlet openings must not be blocked.
The appliance is equipped with overheat protection. It stops automatically when
overheated and starts again after a while when it has cooled. If the appliance stops
automatically and you have finished using it, switch off the appliance and unplug the
power cord.
Hair must never come into direct contact with the air vent. Turn off the appliance before
putting it down and unplug the power cord when you have finished.
Keep the appliance out of the reach of children.
Never dip the product into water or use it in damp environments.
WARNING!
Do not use the appliance close to water. Do not handle it if you have wet hands.
Do not use the applaince close to bath tubs, showers, wash basins or receptacles with
water.
If you use the appliance in the bathroom, you must unplug the power cord after use.
Proximity to the water poses a danger, even when the appliance is turned off.
A 230 V power outlet in the bathroom must be protected by a residual current device. We
recommend that you install a residual current device with a max breaking current of 30
mA in the bathroom’s power circuit. Contact an authorised electrician for more
information.
Children must be supervised to make sure they do not play with the appliance.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe
way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than
8 and supervised.
Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
