4. RETURN RELAY Flow of water from the pool against the direction of flow throu-
gh the filter tank either to the waste pipe or to the pumping pit.
5. CLOSED Closing all outlets, water does not circulate.
6. WASTE Water flow without filtration into the waste pipe or pump pit.
7. RECORDING No function, the position is used when shutting down the filter and
for safe wintering.
WARNING: The valve lever must not be used to carry the filter container, it may
break.
Maintenance
The gradual build–up of impurities in the sand filler tank increases its resistance. If
the pressure value (watch the pressure gauge) in the filter tank increases by appro-
ximately 0.2–0.3 bar above the original value, a rinse is required. Check the pressure
value at the beginning of each filter cycle.
NOTE: In order to maintain hygienic conditions and optimize efficiency, back
flushing must be carried out irrespective of the operating time or the increase in
the pressure (pressure) due to contamination at least every 8 days. If there is an
increased load, reverse flushing must be performed more frequently.
Replacement of sand filler
The absorption capacity of sand filler to capture impurities lies in the roughness of
the individual grains of sand, which are gradually changing during filtering. To main-
tain the maximum filtering effect, we recommend replacing the sand filler before
each event or every second season.
Pump pre–filter cleaning
– Switch off the pump motor (disconnect the plug from the socket).
– Close the shut–off valves. *
– Unscrew the threaded ring and remove the transparent pre–filter cover. Remove
the screen coarse prefilter, clean and reinsert. Replace the transparent cover and
screw it in and tighten the threaded ring.
– Open the shut–off valves.
– Connect and turn on the pump motor.
WARNING: The pump motor must not be operated without a coarse prefilter sieve,
otherwise it may become clogged and blocked.
* If the shut–off valves are not used, water will flow from the open suction pump.
Faults and their removal
• The pressure gauge shows a pressure greater than 1 bar
◊ Clogged sand filler. —> Re-flush.
• Drainage of wastewater
◊ It is a sign of damage to the valve sealing surfaces. —> Have the valve repaired.
