WHEN DRAINING WATER FROM THE WASTE NECK MAKE SURE YOU COMPLY
WITH ALL LEGISLATIVE REQUIREMENTS FOR WASTEWATER MANAGEMENT.
DO NOT DRAIN WATER TO PLACES WHERE WILL CAUSE DAMAGE BY FLOOD.
THE „WASTE“ NECK CAN BE EQUIPPED WITH A NIPPLE FOR CONNECTING
THE WASTE HOSE. DURING FILTRATION, THE „WASTE“ NECK SHOULD BE
CLOSED BY A STOPPER.
Multi-port Valve Control
Always disconnect the device from the
mains before changing the valve position.
Before handling, wait about half a minute
after switching off the pump while the swirling
impurities and sand will settle.
Push the lever down (FIG. 12.1) and turn it to the
desired position (FIG. 12.2).
Servicing
Visible impurities are removed by means of a filtration system. However, this does
not apply to algae, bacteria and micro-organisms, which are a constant obstacle
to achieving clean and healthy water in the pool. For prevention, there are many
special products available which, when properly concentrated, permanently
counteract the above-mentioned threats to your pool and maintain hygienically
safe and clean water.
Maintenance
Check regularly the operation of the facility in the course of the bathing season.
This is important so that any fault can be identified in good time and rectified as
soon as possible. The supplier cannot be held liable for consequential damages
caused by a defect in the filter unit or electrical installation.
Rinse the sand regularly or replace the sand in the container. If the permeability
of the filter sand does not improve even after rinsing, i.e. that the pressure on the
manometer remained high even after rinsing, replace the sand.
Do not clean the filter lid or the filter container itself with any solvent, as this could
damage its surface (loss of gloss, transparency, etc.).
Winterizing
At the end of the season, the filtration must be cleaned, drained, disassembled
and stored. Disconnect the filtration from the pool and drain the water from the
container using the drain valve located at the bottom of the filter vessel.
Open the filter container and remove the sand. Clean the sand and remove
conglomerates or lumps.
Reassemble the filtration and place it in a frost-resistant and dry room for the
winter season. Move the valve lever to the BLEEDING / WINTERIZING intermediate
position, which is used when winterizing the filtration assembly.
