CHARGE BY WEIGHT

If you selected the “charge by weight” option in “SCREEN 2”, proceed with the charge,

screwing the refrigerant fluid cylinder on the holder of the IDEA TRONIC device.

Set up the refrigerant gas charge in grams which you need to fill inside the system, by sliding

the

“      ”

 keys.

Then press the

“ent

key and the empty electronic bar will appear on the display.

Open the refrigerant gas tap very slowly and the empty electronic bar will start to gradually

fill up until the preset quantity visible at the end of the bar is reached.

Guide the filling procedure with the hand and close the refrigerant gas tap quickly, avoiding

to release a greater quantity of fluid than preset.

This charge procedure can be performed with the system off; anyway, if at some point you

are unable to fill the preset quantity (especially in small systems), you need to switch it on

for a few minutes.

N.B.:  The refrigerant fluid ends during the charge procedure. If by any chance the refrigerant

fluid contained in the cylinder ends before finishing the charging procedure, the written

word “empty cylinder” will appear on the display.

Press

enter

key and replace the cylinder. The system stores the refrigerant gas quantity already

filled, so complete the charge.

ATTENTION: the written word “empty cylinder” can also be shown if the refrigerant fluid

does not enter inside the system. Switch on the compressor to guide the filling.

N.B.:  Once the gas charge procedure has been completed, if you desire to “check the system”,

let the equipment running for at least 15 minutes, then proceed.

ATTENTION: ACCIDENTALLY TOUCHING THE REFRIGERANT CYLINDER DURING

THE CHARGE MAY INVALIDATE THE PROCEDURE DUE TO THE POSSIBLE RESETTING

OF THE DEVICE.
