VMM6 Application:
Apply the VMM6 unit to control any Maretron Load Controller device such as Maretron's CLMD16
orCLMD12 by connecting VMM6 to the same NMEA 2000® Network. The VMM6's Out of Box
Configurationallows for Toggle Operation of the first 6 or 7 (depending on part number) Electronic Circuit
Breakers onMaretron's CLMD16 and CLMD12 DC Load Controller Modules. This will only occur if the
CLMD16 orCLMD12 is on the same NMEA 2000® Network as VMM6 and also has a default Out of Box
Configuration.Please see the Out of Box Configuration details in this Quick Start Guide for information on
how theVMM6's default configuration will behave when a CLMD16 or CLMD12 is on the same network
with Out ofBox Configuration.
Note: Depending on desired switch control, default configuration may not work for your application
andcustom configuration will be needed using Maretron N2KAnalyzer®. Applying a CLMD16 and a
CLMD12containing default Out of Box Configurations or having two VMM6 units on the same
NMEA2000® networkforces the need for custom configuration.
