Unit Setup
This section of the guide provides instructions for setting up the unit. It includes the following tasks:

Once the preliminary setup is complete, specify the recorder’s initial configuration using the unit’s
provisioning interface. For more information, see the

Then, specify basic device configurations using the March Networks Administrator Console. The
Administrator Console application is included on the provided software DVD. For more information,

Mounting the Recorder
There are two methods for mounting the recorder: wall-mounting or desk-mounting. Choose the
mounting method that best suits the location and your model.

The unit can be placed on a desk or flat surface. The unit is easily accessible.
