Bookmarking a place in a DVD-
Video disc (LAST MEMORY)
If you watch only part of a DVD Video disc with the
intention of picking up later where you left off,
you can bookmark the place then resume
playback at a later date without having to
manually search for the right place.
You can use this feature for up to five discs (after
that the oldest bookmark is deleted to make space
for a new one).
Important:
Switching off the player using the
front panel power button will erase the memory.
Use the
POWER
button on the remote control
instead.
At the point from which you want to
resume playback next time,
press
LAST
MEMO
(
RY
)
rapidly, then stop the disc (

).
To resume playback,
load the disc and
press
LAST
MEMO
(
RY
)
rapidly. (If the disc
started auto playback, stop it first.)
To clear the last memo position of the
disc loaded,
press
LAST
MEMO
(
RY
)
rapidly
then
CLEAR
while
Last Memory
is displayed on-screen.
Note:
This feature also works with Video CD, but
for one disc only, and you must leave the disc in
the player—opening the disc tray erases the
memory. Last Memory may not work reliably with
some PBC Video CDs.
Last Memory does not work with DVD-Audio discs.
Indexation d’un passage sur un
DVD vidéo (LAST MEMORY)
Si vous ne visionnez qu’une partie d’un DVD vidéo
avec l’intention de reprendre plus tard à l’endroit
où vous vous êtes arrêté, vous pouvez insérer un
index à cet endroit et reprendre ensuite la lecture
à une date ultérieure sans devoir rechercher
manuellement le passage voulu.
Vous pouvez activer cette fonction pour indexer
cinq disques (ensuite, le plus ancien index est
effacé pour faire place à un nouvel index).
Important:
La mise hors tension du lecteur à
l’aide de la touche de mise sous/hors tension du
panneau avant efface la mémoire. Utilisez plutôt
la touche
POWER
de la télécommande.
Au point où vous voulez reprendre la
lecture la prochaine fois, appuyez
brièvement sur LAST MEMO(RY),
puis appuyez sur (
7
) pour arrêter le disque.
Pour reprendre la lecture,
introduisez le
disque et appuyez brièvement sur
LAST
MEMO(RY)
. (Si la lecture du disque
démarre automatiquement, arrêtez-la
d’abord.)
Pour effacer la dernière position
mémorisée du disque introduit,
appuyez brièvement sur
LAST
MEMO(RY)
puis sur
CLEAR
pendant
que l’indication
Last Memory
est affichée
sur l’écran.
Remarque:
Cette fonction est également
opérante avec les CD vidéo mais uniquement pour
un seul disque, et vous devez dans ce cas laisser le
disque dans le lecteur—l’ouverture du plateau de
lecture entraîne l’effacement de la mémoire. La
fonction de mémorisation du dernier passage lu
peut ne pas fonctionner correctement avec
certains CD vidéo PBC.
La fonction de mémorisation du dernier passage
lu est inopérante avec les DVD audio.
