Reset
Condition.
Condition
in
which
the
panel
is
forced
to
return
to
its
normal
state,
usually
performed
by
pressing
the
“SYTEM
RESET”
button
after
all
known
events
/
conditions
are
cleared.
Supervisory.
A
signal
indicating
the
operation
of
a
supervisory
device.
Supervisory
Device.
A
device
that
monitors
the
condition
of
a
sprinkler
system,
such
as
a
gate
‐
valve
switch,
a
water
‐
level
switch,
a
low
‐
pressure
switch,
a
low
temperature
switch,
or
a
fire
‐
pump
monitor.
Trouble
Signal.
An
audible
signal
indicating
trouble
of
any
nature,
such
as
a
circuit
break
or
a
ground,
occurring
in
the
device
or
in
the
wiring
associated
with
a
fire
alarm
signal.
Waterflow
Switch.
An
assembly
approved
for
service
and
built
accordingly.
The
assembly
is
installed
in
a
way
that
any
flow
of
water
from
a
sprinkler
system
equal
to
or
greater
than
that
from
a
single
automatic
sprinkler
head
will
activate
the
switch
and
subsequent
indication
of
an
alarm
condition.
XNU
(External
Network
Unit).
A
unit
that
provides
interfacecircuitto
communicate
with
other
networked
panel
and/or
annunciator.
Zone.
A
designated
area
of
a
building,
commonly
identified
as
a
zone,
is
interchanged
with
an
initiating
device
circuit.
