Battery back-up siren wiring - BBSM (AVS C5/C4)
The AVS battery backup siren has the following wires located on it:
Red:
connect to thin red wire at A4 from the alarm module
Black:
connect to black wire at B5 from the alarm module
Yellow:
this is the siren trigger wire. It must connect to the Blue/Red wire at B1 from the alarm module
Green
: negative trigger –not used.
Blue
: bonnet wire loop connect to bonnet switch and Blue/B6 at alarm module (if required, check vehicle
data sheet as most vehicles read bonnets signal from CAN-Bus)
IMPORTANT: The siren output needs to be configured via PC software and set to analog (default).
AVS BBSM battery backup siren – Analogue mode
Standard siren wiring - SM (AVS C3)
The AVS standard siren has the following wires located on it:
Red:
connect to the Blue/Red wire at B1 from the alarm module
Black:
connect to black wire at B5 from the alarm module
IMPORTANT: The siren output should to be configured via PC software to analogue (default).
If connecting to the AVS GPS tracker
The AVS C-Series alarms are compatible with the AVS Tracker and will provide alarm trigger notification
and alarm state monitoring through the AVS Tracking website.
BLACK WIRE on rear sensor port:
connect to the alarm state input on the AVS tracker
BROWN WIRE on plug B:
connect to alarm activation input on the AVS tracker
