How To Assemble a Frame
→
Step One:
Take the bottom bar and an end bar and put the fin
-
ger into the notch. You want the narrower part of
the end bar facing down and going into the bottom
bar. (As Shown In Diagram C) Make sure groove on
bottom bar faces upward into the frame.

You Will Need:
•
2 End Bars
• 1 Top Bar
• 1 Bottom Bar
• Hammer
• Nails (Sold Separately)
• Wood Glue
• Construction Square
Step Two:
Use a construction square to be sure your frame
is square. Frames that are not square will not sit
properly in the hive. Glue, then nail the bars to
-
gether. (As Shown In Diagram D)
Step Three:
Repeat steps one and two for the other side of the
bottom bar. (As Shown In Diagram C and D)
Diagram A is a picture of the top bar. Diagram B is a picture of the
top bar and the end bar and how they fit together. Diagram C is a
picture of the bottom bar and end bar and how they should line up
to go together. Diagram D shows how the bottom bar and end bar
fit together.

Step Four:
Take the top bar and push it into the notches of
the end bars. Make sure groove on top bar faces
downward into the frame. You should have the
wider part of the end bar facing the top bar. (As
Shown In Diagram A and B)
Step Five:
Use a construction square to be sure your frame
is square. Glue, then nail the bars together. (As
Shown In Diagram B)
