Remove the old capacitor and bracket and the fan motor and mounting bracket assembly.

3.

Drill four 7/32" diameter holes in the front panel and four 7/32" diameter holes in the back panel for mounting the
new fan motor brackets, as shown on Sheet 3, Illustration A.

4.

Assemble the slinger (Item 4) to the fan motor (Item 1) and then the fan blade (Item 2) over the slinger.  Fasten the
motor assembly to the motor mounting brackets with the four 5/16" machine screws, washers, and nuts (Items 7, 8, 9,
10), as shown on Sheet 3, Illustration A.

5.

Mount the motor and bracket assembly in the condenser using the four #10-24 thread cutting screws (Item 13), as
shown on Sheet 3, Illustration A.

Note:    Once the fan motor is mounted, the fan blade should be two thirds into

the shroud opening in the top cover.

6.

Use the cable ties (Item 6) to clamp the fan motor wires to the mounting brackets, as shown on Sheet 3, Illustration B.

Ground the fan motor and field wiring by connecting the green ground wires to the motor mounting bracket with the
#10-24 ground screws and starwashers (Items 11 and 12), as shown on Sheet 3, Illustration B.

Note:  The

starwashers should be placed between the bracket and the eyelet on the wire to insure grounding.

10.

Connect the fan motor wires with the field wiring, as shown  on the wiring diagram label on the back panel of the
remote condenser.

11.

Place the labels (Items 15 and 16) on the electrical cover (Item 5) and fasten the cover in place over the brackets and
