Setup
1. Remove the battery compartment cover and insert the 2 included AAA
batteries as indicated (+ and –). Replace the cover.
2. With your computer on, plug the USB receiver into a USB
port. The computer will automatically detect the Presenter.
ID Setting
The MXP Wireless Presenter has been pre-set so the receiver
is already paired with the ID radio frequency. If you need to
reset the ID connection:
1. Plug the receiver into the computer.
NOTE:
It’s best to use a
USB port on the front of the computer to maximize the
receiver’s range (up to 10 m). If necessary, also use a USB
extension cable to position the receiver at least 20 cm away
from sources of RF interference, such as monitors, speakers,
power supplies and USB hubs.
2. Within 30 seconds, press the Connect button. The LED on the receiver
will blink faster for a few seconds, indicating that the ID setting is
complete.
Operation
1. Pointer Controller: Controls the cursor.
2. Enter/Escape PowerPoint: When PowerPoint is open, press to place
the system into Slideshow mode.
3. Mouse Left: Press for left-click function.
4. Mouse Right: Press for right-click function.
5. Laser Pointer: Press to activate/de-activate.
6. Page Up: Press to move the screen.
7. Page Down: Press to move the screen.
8. Task Switch: Press for quick changes between applications.
9. Power: Position for On or Off.
10. Laser:
Laser pointers and laser-equipped devices are not toys and
should not be used by minors without direct adult supervision.
Do not stare into beam or view directly with optical instruments
.
11. Battery Low LED: Signals when the batteries need to be replaced.
