Removing the Drive Enclosure
Before you disconnect the device from your computer, follow these steps.
1. Click the Clone Me icon on your desktop. (See Driver Installation below.)
2. When the Safely Remove Hardware screen displays, click “Stop.”
3. When the “It is now safe to remove the USB device” message displays,
disconnect the USB cable (and the power adapter, if connected).

Once the enclosure is connected to your computer, your system will
automatically detect the new hardware and complete the setup, confirmed
when the representative Clone Me icon appears in your systems tray.

These steps are for the installation of the convenient One-Touch Backup
software.
NOTE: This software doesn’t support Mac operating
systems.
Some images are modified to fit the manual format.
1. Insert the included software CD in your CD-ROM drive and double-
click “SetupCloneMe1000-Beta3-20090115.” The InstallShield Wizard
will start automatically, initially displaying a Preparing to Install screen.
2. When the Welcome screen
displays, click “Next” to continue.
3. When the Ready to Install the
Program screen displays, click
“Install.”
