Residual risks
Even when the tool is used as prescribed it is not possible to eliminate all residual
risk factors.
The following hazards may arise in connection with the tool’s construction and
design:
1. Damage to lungs if an effective dust mask is not worn.
2. Damage to hearing if effective hearing protection is not worn.
3. Health defects resulting from vibration emission if the power tool is being used
over longer period of time or not adequately managed and properly maintained.
TECHNICAL DATA
WARNING! This machine produces an electromagnetic field during operation. This
field may under some circumstances interfere with active or passive medical
implants. To reduce the risk of serious or fatal injury, we recommend persons with
medical implants to consult their physician and the medical implant manufacturer
before operating this machine.
BATTERY CHARGING
Note: The battery is supplied partially charged to prevent possible problems. There
-
fore, you should charge it prior to use. Batteries will not reach full charge the first
time they are charged. Allow several charging/discharging cycles for them to fully
charge.
Charge the battery
1. Remove the battery pack (5) from the handle, Press the pushlock button (7)
downwards to do so.
2. Check that your main voltage is the same as that marked on the rating plate of the
battery.
3. Plug the mains plug of the charger (6) into the mains socket outlet, turn on the
power, the green LED will illuminate.
4. Push the battery pack onto the battery charger. The red LED will indicate that the
battery pack is being charged.
5. When the charging process is finished, the green LED will be permanently lit.
Warning!
Do not continue to press the On/Off switch after the machine has been automatically
switched off.
The battery can be damaged. The battery is equipped with an NTC temperature
control which allows charging only within a temperature range of between 0 °C and
45 °C. A long battery service life is achieved in this manner. Observe the notes for
disposal.
