Set the Mirror Lock-up Lever to its ‘SQUARE’ position.
Remove the lens.
Slide the Focusing Screen Release Pin (1) to the left using the focusing
screen tweezers. The Focusing Screen Frame (4) will drop down.
Remove the focusing screen from the Focusing Screen Frame by
grasping the focusing screen’s tab (3) with the tweezers, and then
lifting the focusing screen up and out of the Focusing Screen Frame.
Store the screen in a suitable container so that it won’t be damaged.
Using the focusing screen tweezers, grasp the replacement screen by
its tab (3), and then position it into the Focusing Screen Frame (4).
Carefully push the Focusing Screen Frame (4) up until it clicks and locks
into place. Be careful not to damage the screen.
Install the lens.
