. Pull the free end of the strap loop down until the buckle
is approximately half-way up the side of the canoe.
Dress the free end under the cross rail.

. Dress the free end of a strap under the cross rail. Pull the
free end up and out until an even loop is created. Place the
loop up and over the canoe. See image 6.

. Install the three remaining gunwale brackets according to
steps 1-3. Note: Do not tighten the T-knobs. The brackets
should be left loose so they can be centered in step 5.

. Place the canoe on the gunwale brackets. Adjust the
canoe and brackets until they are centered in the middle
of the roof and the canoe is evenly balanced. With the
brackets fitted against the canoe, firmly tighten the
T-knobs on all four brackets.

Installer les trois autres supports à plat-bord en suivant
les étapes 1 à 3. Note : ne pas serrer les boutons en T.
Les supports doivent être desserrés pour pouvoir les
centrer à l’étape 5. Voir image 4.
Mettre le canot sur les supports à plat-bord. Ajuster le
canot et les supports de manière à les centrer vers le
milieu du toit et à bien équilibrer le canot. Une fois les
supports appuyés contre le canot, serrer à fond les
boutons en T sur les quatre supports. Voir image 5.
Faire passer l’extrémité libre d’une sangle sous la tra-
verse. Tirer sur l’extrémité de la sangle jusqu’à obtenir
deux parties d’égales longueurs. Mettre les deux parties
de la sangle sur le canot. Voir image 6.
Tirer sur l’extrémité libre de la sangle jusqu’à ce que
la boucle soit au milieu du canot. Faire passer l’ex-
trémité libre sous la traverse. Voir image 7.
