3.0 Maintenance
3.1 Preventative Maintenance
Monthly Can be performed by trained operators or other authorised personnel.
1.
Wipe out inside doors and chamber with a multipurpose cleaner, ensuring no residues remain
as this may cause oxidation of the surface.
2.
Wipe over outside panels with stainless steel cleaner.
Annually To be performed by Malmet Technician or other authorised personnel.

Check electrical connections as per AS/NZS 3551:2012
2.
Perform temperature calibration
•
Insert calibrated thermometer
•
Allow cabinet temperature to stabilise
•
Compare cabinet display temperature to thermometer value & ensure discrepancy is
/- 2 ºC.
Devices should have regular Test and Tag procedures undertaken.
3.2 Replacement of Safety Devices
The following safety devices must be replaced and tested by a Malmet trained technician, failure to do so may
impair the protection by the device.

Over Temperature Cut Out Switches
•
Campini Cut-out
