INTENDED USE

Use the appliance for cooking rice and keeping it warm after cooking. Do not use the appliance to cook 
soups or other dishes. 
•  The appliance is intended for commercial use.
•  This appliance is intended for indoor use only.
•  Use the appliance only as described in this manual.
•  Any other use might lead to damage of the appliance, property or personal injury.
•  No liability will be accepted for damage resulting from improper use or non-compliance with this 

manual.

BEFORE FIRST USE

•  Remove all packaging material.

Warning!

 Packaging materials are not toys. Children should not play with the packaging 

materials, as they pose a risk of swallowing and suffocation!

•  Check for completeness and transport damage. In case of damages or incomplete delivery please 

contact your dealer (  Guarantee).

•  Clean the appliance as described under 

Cleaning and care.

•  Keep the packaging for storing your appliance when not in use for a longer period of time.

OPERATION

Wash rice

•  Use the measuring container (10) to measure the desired amount of rice you want to cook.
•  Wash the rice 2 to 3 times in a pot or bowl, do not wash it in the inner pot (12) as the coating might 

be damaged.

Cook rice

•  Press the button for opening the lid (1) and open the lid (2).
•  Fill the rice in the inner pot (12) and add water.
•  The amount of water to be added depends on the amount of rice being cooked.
•  See the scale inside the inner pot (12) for the correct amount of water to be added.

Caution!

 Do not

 ll rice and water over the 30 cups (or 5.4l) marking in the inner pot (12) to avoid 

spillage.

•  The markings represent the amount of water to be added in relation to the amount of cups rice to 

be cooked. If you add 20 cups (or 3.6l) of rice in the inner pot (12)

•  Close the lid (2) until it clicks into place.
•  Connect the power plug (9) with a wall outlet. The

•  Press the lever (5) down to start the cooking process. The

 LED (6) lights up.

•  The rice is being cooked.

• ATTENTION!

 During the cooking process hot steam escapes from the steam vent (8). 

Danger of 

scalding! 

Do not cover the appliance during use with a cloth or other objects.
