Push down the motor section, and then hold the main body as follows:
·
(LW1400) with Stopper pin (115)
·
(LW1401) with chain (64) on Handle set (23, 30)

Remove M6x12 PH screw (82) for fixing
Spark guard (81). Then remove Spark
cover (99) by unscrewing two M4x6
PH screws (98).

Set Eye wrench 10 to M6 Hex nut (118) and remove
M6x12 Hex socket bolt (116) using Hex wrench 5.

Hold Gear housing complete firmly and then release
Stopper pin (115) or Chain (64) slowly to move up Gear
housing complete.

Remove M10x140 Hex bolt (85) and M10-17 Hex nut
(74) with Wrench 17 and Socket bit 17 and Cordless
impact driver.
Note:
Before assembling, apply Makita grease FA No.2 a
little in the position shown by the yellow arrow.

Lay the main frame on its side so that Safety cover
comes to the bottom.

Pull out Pipe 20-128 (77) while rotating with 1R003.
The plier can hold the inside of Pipe.
Note:
Before assembling, apply Makita grease FA No.2
a little in the position shown by the yellow arrow.
