3-5. Password setting when writing the product settings
You can set a requirement for a password when writing settings for the product by turning the password
setting ON.
You can enter up to 8 one-byte alphanumeric characters.
When the password setting is ON and you click the [Write] button on “Access to Tool”, you will be required to
enter the password before transferring the settings to the product.
You can also change your password by clicking [Change Password].
Enter the old and new passwords, and then click the [OK] button.
Important! The password is required only when the app is launched and the first product settings is written. If
you click the [x] button in the upper right corner of the window without entering a password, the
configuration information will not be transferred to the product.
Important! You need to enter the password to change the password setting ON/OFF.
Note! The default password when the app is installed is “0000.” If you forget the password, you will have to
uninstall the app first, and then re-install the app by referring to the attached [Install Manual].
