Basic Operation
Instructions Guide
Ensure that the radio has been charged and view the battery life
on the display when you turn it on. If the battery icon shows all
of the bars illuminated then the system is fully charged.
To charge the device, use the USB cable provided and plug
it into a computer or a plug (not supplied) that accepts USB
connectors. Plug this into the radio USB charging port (

Also ensure that the earphones are connected (
Ref.12
)into the
top of the system correctly as they are also the antenna of your
radio. Without them, no DAB/FM signal will be received.
Turn the radio on by pressing the ‘ON/OFF’ button (
Ref.10
) on
the side of the radio. “Welcome to Digital Radio” will then show
on the display.
The radio will then automatically begin scanning for available
DAB stations. The radio will display “Searching...” and may take a
few minutes to scan.
The signal bar will now display on the top right of the radio
screen. If there are no bars, there may be issues with getting a
good connection to stations.
