Operating the Machine/Mowing
Never place limbs under the machine while rotors are turning. Rotors can remain turning for up to 1 minute
after disengaging PTO.
While operating this machine the PTO input rate should not exceed the RPM stated in the Product
Specifications section of this booklet. Always operate on level ground when connecting/disconnecting the
implement. This will prevent dangerous movement.
Never allow anyone to stand between the tractor and the machine. Ensure the machine is attached correctly
to the tractor as previously described. Always start up the tractor PTO at a low RPM. Build up to operating
speed, select a suitable forward gear & proceed to cut grass.

Hitch the machine as outlined in the previous section. Ensure bystanders are clear from the machine & cannot be
hit with debris expelled from the machine.
2. Lift up the Parking Jack or the Parking stand (depending on the model) and secure it in mowing position.
3.
Ensure the PTO stand is flipped down.
4. Check PTO shaft is fully engaged on tractor PTO splines.
5. Lower the machine by hydraulic control to the ground or use tractor linkage controls.
6. After clearing the vicinity of bystanders, relocate the Transport Bar.
7. Start up the tractor PTO at a low RPM.
8.
Build up to operating speed, select a suitable forward gear & proceed to cut grass.
