efore first use

•  Remove all packaging materials and/or other transportation means.

•  Check package content to verify it is complete and undamaged. Do not operate the 

appliance if the content is incomplete or appears damaged. Return it immediately to 

Walmart.

Packaging materials are not toys. Always keep plastic bags, foils and foam parts away 

from babies and children. Packaging material could block airways and prevent breathing. 

NOTE:

Always use the appliance fully assembled.

 

-

The appliance may produce an odor and/or emit smoke when switched on for the first 

time, as residues from the production process are eliminated. This is normal and does not 

indicate a defect or hazard. 

 

-

When using the appliance for the first time, it is recommended to operate it for at least 2 

full cycles without ground coffee. 

 

-

Let the appliance cool completely. 

 

-

Clean the appliance (  Cleaning and Maintenance). 

Using the appliance

This appliance can be used for brewing up to 12 cups coffee using ground coffee and keeping 

coffee warm. Use only water and do not use any other liquids.

NOTE:

 

-

The appliance has a rated power of 900W. Before plugging it into the wall outlet, ensure 

that the electrical circuit is not overloaded with other appliances. This appliance should 

always be operated on a separate 120V ~ 60Hz wall outlet.

 

-

Make sure the appliance is assembled before connecting it to a wall outlet.

• 

Place the appliance on a clean, flat and heat resistant surface (ill. a).

•  Open the lid (1) (ill. b).

• 

Place the filter basket (10) in the filter housing (4) (ill. c).

NOTE:

 

-

Ensure to align the filter basket (10) correctly with the filter housing (4).

• 

Place a suitable paper filter (U-type for 12 cups) in the filter basket (10) (ill. d).

• 

Add the required amount of ground coffee into the paper filter using a measuring scoop (ill. 

e). Do not overfill it. 

•  Fill the required amount of fresh cold water into the carafe (14). Check the water level 

indicator on the side of the carafe (14) (ill. f).

•  Pour the water into the water tank (3). Check the water level indicator (9) on the side of the 

water tank (3) (ill. g). 

WARNING:

Always ensure there is water in the water tank (3) before using the appliance. Do not use 

the appliance without water. Do not use hot water for brewing.

Do not over or under fill the water tank (3). Ensure the water level is always between the

 marking on the water level indicator (9). Drain excess water if needed.

•  Close the lid (1) (ill. h).

•  Place the carafe (14) on the keep warm plate (8) (ill. i). 

NOTE:

Ensure the appliance is assembled correctly and completely.

Do not use the appliance without the carafe (14), filter basket (10) and paper filter.

• 

Insert the plug (6) into a wall outlet (ill. j).

•  Set the 

I/O

 (on/off) button (7) in the 

I

 position to switch the appliance on (ill. k). The button 

will illuminate.
