9. Only mount soffit external grille once the plas-
tering is complete.
Formation of surface rust: External factors
(e.g., air containing sulphur dioxide or salt,
dust containing iron etc.) may cause surface
rust to form on stainless steel. We recommend
thoroughly cleaning unpainted stainless steel
parts before installation (remove dust and fin-
gerprints) and rubbing in a little oil (e.g. care
oil for stainless steel). When mounting ex-
ternal grilles made of stainless steel, use only
stainless steel screws.
8 Next steps for final mounting
8.1 Installation information for flush-
mounted box
We recommend standard flush-mounted boxes
for installing the control components listed below.
DN 60 mm, depth of 66 or 61 mm for
• Room air control RLS 45 O
• Room air control RLS 45 K
• Wireless extension module PP 45 EO
• Power unit PP 45 LT
• Humidity sensor PP 45 HY
• CO2 sensor PP 45 CO2
• VOC sensor PP 45 VOC
When using more than 2 units, we recom-
mend installing the room air control in an
electronic switch box (to be supplied by the
customer). This provides sufficient space for
the connection of the cables to the room air
control.
8.2 After internal plastering and
painting
1. Install final assembly kit comprising fan slide in
module and internal cover → The “Final
mounting set” installation instructions, en-
closed with the ventilation unit.
2. Install room air control, radio switches and/or
sensors → Supplement for accessory com-
ponents.
3. Start up ventilation system and individually set
in service mode or using the commissioning
software.
