Ventilation solution for a 3-room flat with PPB 30
K ventilation units for the bathroom and PP 45
ventilation units for living spaces. The PPB 30 K
ventilates and extracts air from the bathroom, at
the same time, with balanced operation. A
PPB
30 K fan ventilates the room with air which has
been pre-warmed in the heat exchanger. The
other
PPB 30 K fan transfers the thermal energy
from the exhaust air to the heat exchanger during
air extraction. Every 60 seconds, the air direction
changes, thereby permitting a ventilation mode
with constant heat recovery. In case of high air
humidity, intensive ventilation can be activated via
a humidity sensor (automatically) or manually with
a button. Pure exhaust air mode is also possible
and here the two fans pump humidity out of the
room (no heat recovery).
5 Technical data
5.1 Requirements at the installation
site
• Ambient temperature - 15 °C to + 40 °C.
• Airstream temperature, max. 40 °C.
• Max. permissible humidity in installation room
PP 45 : 70 % / PPB 30 : 90 % (at 20 °C).
• A level and solid wall surface is needed for wall
installations.
NOTICE: Conveyance of structure-borne
sound if core drill hole touches door/window
lintels or ring beams. Observe spacing
between core drill hole and door/window lin-
tels and ring beams.
• Exterior wall with sufficient load-bearing capa-
city (min. 200 kg/m³).
• For filter changes, ensure sufficient space to
work in front of the unit.
• Do not drill core drill hole for unit assembly and
do not drill fixing points on external and internal
covers in load-bearing components, such as in
the lintel or ring beam.
