RESET button: In case of overheating the
heating is switched off, the fan continues to
run. Press the RESET button [5] to restart the
heating after it has cooled down.
8.3 Switching unit on
¾ Turn the fan level/heater rotary switch to
the step required for ventilation and
heating.
The unit will switch on.
¾ Set the setpoint temperature.
The unit switches off when the setpoint
temperature is reached.
8.4 Switching unit off
¾
Turn the fan level/heating rotary switch
to ‘O’.
The unit will switch off.
¾ Always unplug the unit from the mains after
use and allow it to cool down.

The unit is maintenance-free.

Cleaning

¾ Unplug at the mains.

Unit can become very hot.
¾ Never touch the protective
grille or heating elements
during or soon after operation
of the unit.
¾ Allow the unit to cool down
sufficiently before cleaning.
¾ All dust and dirt should be removed care-
fully and regularly from the surface and
inside of the air channel.
¾ If necessary, clean the unit with a damp
cloth.
¾ Never use any abrasive cleaning agents
that may be injurious to health or that are
easily inflammable.

Fault Countermeasure
Unit doesn't run Check whether the mains
fuse is switched on.
Thermal
overload
protection has
triggered. When the heating has
cooled down, press the
RESET button. The heating
switches on. If the fault
persists, unplug at the mains
and call on the services of a
trained electrician.

Disposal
Not in domestic waste.
The unit contains in part material that
can be recycled and in part substan-
ces that should not end up as
domestic waste.
¾ After its working life has elapsed, dispose
of the unit according to valid regulations
where you are.
