6. Operation
WARNING
- This section discusses the appropriate and
safe methods for using the equipment. Always ensure
proper understanding of the equipment function prior to
use to avoid injury.
Operation of the VOX-14HD is split into 5 different steps:
Connect to engine
Program/start
Purge/evacuate
Change filter
Introduce clean oil

6.1 Engine oil change
Follow these instructions to change the engine oil.
1. Connect air supply to VOX-14HD.
2. Connect oil supply (under pressure) to VOX-14HD at
the meter.
3. Connect the ¾” suction hose to the VOX-14HD drain
fitting (sold separately) on the engine.
4. Connect the dual hose to the VOX-14HD inlet fitting
(sold separately) on the engine.
5. Turn on
OIL SAMPLE
switch if an oil sample is
desired.
6. Press and hold
ENGINE OIL DRAIN
button down
until button stays depressed. The VOX-14HD will
purge oil from filter and remove oil from pan. When
the oil pan is empty, the VOX-14HD will shut off
automatically.
7. Change oil filter
8. Add fresh engine oil using the meter.
9. Check oil level.
10. Disconnect hoses from the engine.
Please drain VOX-14HD tank after every oil change.
6.2 Drain tank
1. Connect suction hose to your bulk waste tank (3/4”
NPT adapter included with machine).
2. Press and hold
WASTE OIL DRAIN
button until the
button stays depressed.
3. VOX-14HD will shut off automatically after the tank is
empty.
