DTC CHECKING PROCEDURE 

 

 

Turn the ignition ON and Initialise i-SMART  tool 

 

Record the DTC and clear  

 

Turn ignition OFF then ON 

 

Proceed to DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE if 

B1002-16 

is present  

 

If not present, then check for any intermittent problem 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

STEP A – CHECK VOLTAGE IN BATTERY  

 

Is the value > 9.0 

V?

GO TO STEP B

Ignition ON

Check the voltage between battery positive and battery negative

Suspect the charging circuit

Check and confirm the proper 
functioning of charging 
circuit(Alternator & Battery)

Clear the DTC and verify
