t h e c l a m p s e c u r e l y o n t h e c o n d u i t . A l w a y s l e a v e a l i t t l e e x t r a s l a c k i n t h e w i r i n g .
C o n n e c t t h e h o t w i r e ( B L A C K ) f r o m t h e m a i n p a n e l ’ s d e d i c a t e d 3 0 a m p b r e a k e r t o t h e
“AC INPU T ( H O T 1 I N ) ” t e r m i n a l . T i g h t e n t h e s c r e w t e r m i n a l t o 1 6 i n c h -p o u n d s .
N O T E : I f u s i n g d u a l i n p u t s , c o n n e c t t h e R E D w i r e f r o m t h e m a i n p a n e l t o A C I N P U T
( H O T 2 I N )
C o n n e c t t h e n e u t r a l ( W H I T E ) f r o m t h e m a i n p a n e l ’ s n e u t r a l b u s b a r t o t h e “ A C
INPUT (NEU)” ter m i n a l . T i g h t e n t h e s c r e w t e r m i n a l t o 1 6 i n c h -p o u n d s .
Connect the ground (GREEN) wire from the main panel’s neutral bus bar to the “GROUND”
t e r m i n a l . T i g h t e n t h e t e r m i n a l t o 1 6 i n c h -p o u n d s .

T i g h t e n t h e c l a m p s e c u r e l y o n t h e c o n d u i t .
C o n n e c t t h e h o t ( B L A C K ) w i r e t o t h e “ A C O U T P U T 1 ( H O T ) ” t e r m i n a l . T i g h t e n t h e
terminal to 16 inch-pounds.
N O T E : I f u s i n g d u a l o u t p u t s , c o n n e c t t h e R E D w i r e t o t h e “ A C O U T P U T 2 ( H O T ) ”
terminal.
C o n n e c t t h e n e u t r a l ( W h i t e ) w i r e t o t h e “ A C O U T P U T ( N E U ) ” t e r m i n a l . T i g h t e n t h e
terminal to 16 inch-pounds.
C o n n e c t t h e g r o u n d ( G r e e n ) w i r e t o t h e “ G R O U N D ” t e r m i n a l . T i g h t e n t h e t e r m i nal to
16 inch-pounds.
Final Inspection
V e r i f y a l l c a b l e s / c o n d u i t r u n s a r e s e c u r e d w i t h w i r e t i e s o r o t h e r n o n c o n d u c t i v e
fasteners to prevent chafing or damage from movement and vibration.
Verify strain reliefs or grommets are in place to prevent damage to the wiring or conduit where it
passes through walls, bulkheads or other openings.
V e r i f y a l l A C c o n n e c t i o n s a r e c o r r e c t a n d t o r q u e d t o 1 6 i n c h p o u n d s .
R e p l a c e t h e c o v e r s o n t h e m a i n e l e c t r i c a l / d i s t r i b u t i o n p a n e l . R e p l a c e
t h e c h a s s i s a c c e s s c o v e r .
V e r i f y t h e i n v e r t e r ’ s f r o n t p a n e l s w i t c h i s i n t h e " O F F " p o s i t i o n .
