You can adjust the tone and balance for audio
playback under
EQ mode
. Four presets can be
selected here: Linear, Film, Music, Spoken. You
can adjust your own settings under the "Manual"
menu.
Under
Speaker Position
you can implement a
frequency response correction based on the
location of the satellite speakers. If the speakers
are set up on a shelf and the distance to the wall
is at least 15cm, the "Shelf" setting is
recommended. If the speakers are mounted
directly on a wall, please select the "Wall
mounting" option.
You can adjust the volume of the subwoofer to
match the acoustic properties of the room under
Subwoofer Gain
. The closer the subwoofer is
positioned to a wall, the greater the bass
response; therefore it may need to be reduced
(negative values). If the subwoofer is set up
relatively freely in the room, an amplification is
often necessary (positive values). You should test
the settings by conducting various listening tests
with different films and pieces of music. When
doing this the EQ mode should be set to Linear.
You can choose between PCM (two-channel PCM
data format) and RAW (multi-channel data format)
under
Digital Output
.
