• WARNING!
Do not use slices of bread or bagels that are too big or too thick, as they can easily get
stuck in the device. If bread slices or bagels get stuck, first unplug the device from the mains power and allow
the device to cool down fully. Release the jammed slices of bread or bagels with a blunt wooden object (e.g. a
wooden spatula or spoon).
Do not touch the heating elements inside the toaster slots as these could get
damaged.
• WARNING!
When smoke comes out of the toaster slot, from burned slices of bread or bagels,
immediately press the "CANCEL" button

and disconnect the power plug from the mains power. Wait for the
device to cool down fully and remove the burned slices of bread.
• When toasting, crumbs will fall from the bread. These crumbs are collected in the removable bread crumb tray

. To empty crumbs from the bread crumb tray

, simply pull the tray out of the device and tip out the crumbs.
If necessary, wipe the crumbs that are stuck from the bread crumb tray

with kitchen paper. Slide the bread
crumb tray

back into the toaster until it clicks back into place.
• To prevent the toaster from overheating and obtain an even browning of bread, wait ± 1 minute between two
toasting processes.
• WARNING!
Do not use other food than slices of bread or plain bagels.
Do not put glazed bagels or
slices of bread with butter, etc. in the device as this can damage the device.
• WARNING! Danger to life from burning.
Do not leave children unattended with the device. Do
not put your fingers, hand or any other body parts in the opening (toaster slots) of the device

Prevent burns. Do not touch the upper surface of the device as this becomes hot during
use. When removing slices of bread or bagels, use kitchen gloves.

• Clean the device after each use.
• Set the toasting level knob

• Remove the plug from the mains power and allow the device to cool down fully (± 30 minutes).
• Never immerse the device in water or any other liquid.
• Clean the casing and the removable bread crumb tray

with a damp cloth.
• Never use aggressive or abrasive cleaning materials, a scouring sponge or steel wool; these damages the
device.
• Thoroughly dry the device.
• Do not wash the device in a dishwasher.
• Store the device in a dry place.
