TROUBLE SHOOTING GUIDE

Problem

Electric Grill will
not turn on

Flare-up

Possible Cause

Power Cord not properly
engaged

GFI outlet is tripped

Excessive cooking temperature

Grease/residue build-up

Excessive fat in meats

Excessive oils in marinades

Possible Solution

Check that the Power Cord is fully
inserted through the temperature
Control Receiver and into the Heat
Element

Check that the Power Cord is fully
inserted into GFI outlet.

Reset GFI

Turn temperature control to lower
temperature

Open lid

Clean Components

Trim excess fat before grilling

Use non-oil based marinades
