Programming device ready for Scratch 2.0
Block Coding and Physical computing activities that utilize Magcoding Monster are available both in ‘Scratch’ and the most frequently used in the world in ‘Entry’
1.
First installation
1)
Go to www.magcoding.com download Magkinder For Scratch and install.
2)
Run Magkinder for Scratch. If it is the first time to use, please click on Scratch download.
3)
When you see the below screen, download the file according to your
OS system and install. After installing the scratch program,
close the scratch program
4)
See the Magkinder for Scratch, go to FILE and check the New file.
5)
Click ‘MORE BLOCK’ and check whether there is
Magkinder instruction Blocks or not.
2.
Daily usage on PC by USB Dongle
1)
Insert USB Dongle to the PC
2)
Place a Magcoding Monster within 1 meter range from PC and power on.
Note: Please check whether there is a Blue color light on the dongle which means “connected”
USB Donggle connects the nearest Magcoding Monster Robot
3)
Run Magkinder for Scratch.
Note: When the Magcoding Monster is connected to Magkinder for Scratch program, you can see the Blue colored “Connected” on the screen as below
4)
Press Scratch Start
5)
Scratch program is started.

Connecting Magcoding Monster to a computer or tablet
You also need to know how to connect Magcoding monster with a computer or tablet using USB Dongle.

1)
Connect USB Dongle First. Then Power on the robot.
2)
When the connection with the robot is finished, BLUE LED is lighted on top
of the robot. When the connection is off, the robot makes sound “Magkinder”.
3)
USB Dongle Recognize the nearest robot within 1~2 meters.
If there are more than two robots, the link does not mix and the nearest robot links first.
4)
After being connected, the connection is secured within 10 meters distance.
5)
While the robot is linked to the dongle, it cannot be connected to other dongle
or any other accessible digital devices. The connected dongle and smart device only can control the robot
After using Scratch with a Bluetooth dongle, you must remove the dongle to establish a Bluetooth connection with your smart device.
