If  the  appliance  is  turned  on  empty,  the  buttons  and  indicators  on  the 

control panel will not work till it is cooled down. 

If the thermo pot turns on empty or if there is  not enough water inside, 

the thermostat will automatically turn off the heating element to prevent 

the thermo pot from overheating. If this happend, unplug the appliance  

and let it cool down, then full it with water.

Cleaning and maintenance

Spots on the inner surface of the thermo pot

Do  not  use  flammable,  aggressive  and  abrasive  substances  such  as  acids, 

thinners, gasoline, or powder detergents for cleaning. Do not clean with metal 

or other types of abrasive scouring pads or scrapers.

Do not immerse the appliance in water. 

Scale removal

Storage

1. Unplug the appliance and let it cool down.

2. Wipe the outer surfaces of the thermo pot with a wet cloth. Use soft detergents to 

remove dirt; do not use metal brushes and abrasives.

3.  Do not wash the unit in a dish wash machine.

Under the influence of different additives, contained in water, inner surface may 

change its color.

 You can remove such spots using citric acid or vinegar.

 To remove lemon taste, boil water and pour it away. Repeat the procedure 

until the taste disappears.

Scale,  appearing  inside  the  thermo  pot,  influences  water  taste  and  disturbs  heat 

exchange between water and the heating element than can lead to overheating and 

mulfunction. 

1.  To  remove  scale,  fill  the  thermo  pot  with  water  and  vinegar  dissolved  in  it  in 

proportion 2:1. 

2. Boil water and leave the appliance for a night. 

3. In the morning pour out water, fill the pot with water till max mark, boil it and pour 

out again. 

You can use special substances for electric thermo pots to remove scale.

1.  Before taking the thermopot for a long-term storage, unplug it from the mains, 

allow the appliance to cool down and drain the water.

2.  Clean the thermopot. Store the appliance in a cool, dry place, out of reach of 

children and people with disabilities. Make sure that there are no foreign objects 

in the appliance during its storage. 

3.  While long-term storage, keep the thermo pot be in its original packaging.
