10. Installing the software
The enclosed CD-Rom contains the following software for Windows XP, Vista, 7 and 8:
MAGIX Photo Manager 10™
- A program for quick archiving and for editing and reproducing
photos on your computer.
MAGIX Video Easy SE™
- This software makes it easy to cut and edit videos, as well as creating
video CDs and DVDs.
1. Insert the CD ROM supplied with the camera into the CD/DVD drive of your computer. You
will see a welcome screen.
2. Click on the name of the desired software. Follow the on screen instructions to complete the
installation.
Note:
• Before installing the included software, please perform a data backup. The manufacturer
is not liable for data loss.
• To transfer stored media, the camera can be connected to the computer without the
installation of the software.
Note:
• For more information on how to use the software, see the appropriate Help function of the
program. If you are using Windows® XP, Vista, 7 or 8, install and use the software in the
"administrator" mode. If installation of the CD does not start automatically, you can
manually install the software by using the Explorer. Open the icon for your CD/DVD drive
with a double click and run the "setup" program.
• The editing software is not supported on computers running Mac or Linux systems.
