Use only a power supply with the rated input voltage specified on the rating plate,
danger of fire and electrocution. The device is disconnected from the mains by
disconnecting the power supply from the mains socket.
The connected power supply can continue to consume power and represent a
hazard source.
The power supply may not be used during a thunder storm, there is danger of
electrocution.
Damage from heat – fire hazard
Do not leave the portable DVD Player in places that are susceptible to
considerable increases in temperature
(e.g. in a vehicle). The housing and internal
parts may be damaged, which in turn could cause a fire.
Do not wrap up portable DVD Player and the AC adaptor or place on textiles.
This
could produce a build up of heat in the device that could cause deformation of the
housing and may represent a fire hazard.
Hazards of using Lithium-Polymer batteries
The battery is an integral part of the DVD player and cannot be replaced.
Danger of explosion in case of incorrect removal of the battery.
Never expose battery to excessive heat
, such as direct sunlight, fire, etc., as
otherwise danger of fire.
Do not throw battery into fire, short-circuit battery or take battery apart.

Battery must be
disposed
of in line with the Battery Directive.
Avoid battery acid coming into contact with eyes. In case of contact with eyes, rinse
eyes with plenty of water and contact doctor immediately.
Remove battery prior to disposing of the DVD player.
Injuries and material damage
Only place the DVD player on sturdy surfaces.
The DVD player could otherwise fall
or topple over, causing damage or injury.
Do not operate the DVD player whilst running or driving.
You could fall or cause a
traffic accident.
Only use power adaptor specified for the DVD player.
No liability shall be accepted
for damage caused by the use of an incorrect power adaptor.
