5. INTRODUCTION
5.1
DESCRIPTION OF THE CO2 JET AND ITS USAGE
The CO2 Jet is designed to place on a stage and produce white cryogenic smoke plumes of CO2 gas
upwards. This gives a special effect on stage. As soon as the liquid CO2 from the CO2 bottle comes
(via the high pressure hose) out of the CO2 Jet, the liquid turns into gas which give a spectacular
white smoke plume. This effect will also produce a strong sizzling noise. The output of the CO2 Jet is
approximately 8m. This depends on the humidity. At a high
humidity the output will be higher and at a low humidity the output will be less.
The CO 2 jet needs to be connected to a liquid carbon dioxide (CO2) cylinder with a dip tube.
The CO2 Jet is not suitable for gases other than described above.
