Changing The Reversible Door

CAUTION:  To avoid personal injury to yourself and/or property, we recommend 
 someone assist you during the door reversal process.

 

The components for reversing the door are delivered in a vinyl bag placed in the cabinet. When you 

unpack your unit, please save these components properly until you need them for door reversing.

 The following is an example describing steps to change the door from right side to left side. To change

the door from left side to right side, do the similar steps but on opposite side.

1. Remove the niche cover on the left of cabinet and carefully pull out the electric connector from the niche.
2. Remove two plug buttons on the left of door frame, carefully locate electric connector from niche and 
lead it out through hinge hole. Cover the connector niche again by firmly pressing in the niche button 
removed just now.
3. Remove the hinge cover on the right of cabinet. Disconnect electric connectors. Carefully separate 
the wiring from hinge pin.
4. Unscrew 3 screws to remove hinge plate. Be careful to separate the electric wiring from hinge plate.
5. Lift the door assembly upright.
6. Remove the ventilation grill on the lower part of the cabinet, by removing 2 screws.
7. Remove the right bottom hinge, by removing 2 screws.
8. Install left bottom hinge, fasten 2 screws.
9. Put  door assembly on the left bottom hinge.
10. Carefully lead wiring connectors trough the holes of left upper hinge.  Cabinet wiring goes through 
hinge plate hole and door wiring goes through hinge pin hole. Connect two connectors firmly.
11. Fasten left upper hinge plate by 3 screws.
12. Check and make sure the door assembly is properly aligned on the cabinet. 
13. Re-install the ventilation grill onto the cabinet, 
by fasten 2 screws.
14. Settle the wiring and connectors on the left
 hinge plate, and then put the left hinge cover on.
15. Settle the wiring and connectors on the right 
side into  niches. Cover the cabinet niche with 
right niche cover. Cover the niche on the door 
frame with niche button. Cover the hinge hole 
on right side of door frame with the plug button 
removed from left side.
16.  Now collect all the components removed 
from reversing. Please keep them for further
use when you need to reverse back.

The process is now complete.
