
- Keep the appliance at room temperature for 30 minutes before using.
- Use the appliance at a room temperature of between +5°C and +40°C.
- Remove the water tank from the unit FIG. D. Unscrew the top-up lid (3) and fill the tank with tap
water* FIG. C (never use hot water). Unscrew the top-up lid (3) and reposition the tank on the
appliance.
- Insert the power supply cord (10) in the power socket.
- Turn the knob (5) clockwise to switch the appliance on FIG A.
- Turn the knob further ( 5) to adjust the amount of mist dispensed (2)
- The mist is not dispensed instantly, it may take a few
seconds to fill the chamber (4).
- Operate the night light using the ON /OFF switch (6).
- When the water in the tank runs out the blue light (7) becomes red. Switch the unit off and pull out
the plug
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the
hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall
not be made by children without supervision.
- Keep the unit away from sources of heat.
- Keep the unit away from electric and/or electronic appliances.
- This unit must not be used by children or persons with physical, mental and/or sensory impairment,
and those lacking experience or knowledge of the use of electric appliances.
- The unit is not a toy. Keep out of the reach of children.
- If the power supply cord is broken or worn, contact an authorised service centre for replacement.
- In the event of breakdown or malfunction, switch the appliance off immediately, disconnect from
the power supply and contact your local service centre.
- Do not touch the water in the tank, or components of it whilst the appliance is switched on.
- Never switch the appliance on when the water tank is empty.
- Do not wet the unit or place it in water.
- For indoor use only. Protect it from exposure to atmospheric agents.
- This appliance must be used for its intended use only. Using it for any other purpose is both
improper and dangerous. The manufacturer cannot be held responsible for any damage deriving
from improper or incorrect use.
- Always use cold water (never hot). Do not add essences, perfumes, medicines or any other
substance.
- Always switch off the appliance and disconnect from the power supply before removing the water
tank.
- Position the humidifer on a flat, stable and waterproof surface.
- The humidifier must be kept away from curtains, rugs, furniture or any other moisture-sensitive
objects.
- When not in use, disconnect from the power supply and store in a suitable place.

Cleaning
When using the unit and particularly in places where the water is very hard, i.e. it contains too much
calcium and magnesium, the presence of these two substances may leave a white film and a thick
layer of lime scale may form on the walls of the tank and transducer, thus reducing their efficacy.
Always comply with the following precautions:
- *Use previously boiled cold water or distilled or demineralised water.
- Clean the transducer, chamber and water tank with a damp cloth each time it is topped up.
Keep the components completely dry when the appliance is not in use.
Make up approximately 1L of a 50-50 mixture of water and white vinegar.
- Unscrew the top-up lid (3) and fill the tank FIG. C.
- Screw the top-up lid (3) and reposition the tank on the appliance.
Wait for about 1 hour. (ABSOLULTELY DO NOT OPERATE THE UNIT)
- Empty both the tank and base of the humidifier.
- Rinse the tank well with water
(NEVER RINSE THE HUMIDIFIER BASE).
- Dry the base of the humidifier with a cloth.
For correct appliance operation, the cleaning procedure should be performed once a week during
use.
