This is one of the most interesting parts of this module. In this menu you will find some important
configurations for your desired pattern. There are 16 available sequences: the first six sequences can
have up to 64 steps. The following six have 32 and the last four ones, 16. Select one of them to edit its
parameters.
Turn the encoder to select any
pattern. Press the button to
configure its parameters.
On this side, you will see the
note that will be played on this
step.
The number represents the
octave position.
This screen shows on which step
we are. Remember that, if you
have configured a 32-step
sequence, you can’t edit step
#56, for example.
Submenus and parameters:
-STEPS: Select the number of steps in your sequence. Make a short click to exit the STEPS submenu. The
number of steps will be saved.
-EDIT: Inside the magic begins. Set which note will sound for each step in the sequence.
All steps and notes are selected with the encoder.
The little circle says what are you editing.
If you want to create a sequence faster, select edit notes (the little circle will be next to NOTE label) .
Connect the MIDI cable and play all notes you want. The notes will be written automatically without
selecting any step with the encoder.
PATTERN menu
Once finished, make a long click on the encoder to exit the EDIT menu.
RATE: Modify the speed at which the sequence will be played.
DELETE: Briefly press the encoder to choose the option. If you choose delete, all data of the selected pattern
will be deleted.
The save option has been removed in the v2 version of POLYSEQ. All changes made will be saved
automatically.
